Following the construction of the first iPSTAR gateway in Beijing in May, 2006, Thail satellite operator Shin Satellite on December 28 announced that it is ready to deliver broadband iPSTAR service in China nationwide with the completion of two more gateways in Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The iPSTAR service in China will be supported by China Satellite Communication and its subsidiary CBSN (China Broadband Satellite Network). Asides China, the iPSTAR service is also available in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Vitnam, Burma, and Laos.
